Merry Christmas!

Welcome to GleannlochChristmas.com, home of the annual Christmas lighting display of Matt and Alicia Brown and family. We are located in suburban Houston, Texas in the Gleannloch Farms subdivision. Click here for map showing our location. For a map of nearby animated displays click here.

Our display features lights that "dance" to music and video through computer-controlled programming and songs broadcast using a small radio transmitter, so you can watch the display in the warmth of your car as you enjoy the light show. Look for a sign near the display letting you know which station to tune to.

The 2012 show is up and running. The display runs daily between 5:45pm and 9:45pm from December 8th through December 31st (weather permitting).

Are you interested in creating your own animated display? Learn how at the Ultimate Academy - happening in Conroe, Texas, July 12-14, 2013. It is the largest event of its kind in the United States, and features many classes for lighting enthusiasts.

A Christmastime Prayer

As I untangle strings of Christmas lights, Lord help me to remember that I do this first to honor You. Never let me get so prideful of my display that I fail to see the wonders in the eyes of a child or the joy on the faces of those who are still children at heart. Never let me forget that my total effort is to make Christmas memories, bring cheer and to slow down the pace of a hectic season if only for a moment. And Lord, someday when I meet you face to face, may I hear you say: "When you made My people smile, you made Me smile."
