Merry Christmas!

Welcome to GleannlochChristmas.com, home of the annual Christmas lighting display of Matt and Alicia Brown and family. We are located in suburban Houston, Texas in the Gleannloch Farms subdivision. Click here for map showing our location. For a map of nearby animated displays click here.

Our display features lights that "dance to music" through computer-controlled programming and songs broadcast using a small radio transmitter, so you can watch the display in the warmth of your car as you enjoy the light show.

For the 2009 season, we have more than doubled the number of lights to nearly 10,000! Our operating toy train is back and better than ever! And this year we've added a video wreath - so now each song includes a video too. The display runs daily between 5:45pm and 9:45pm through December 31st. We may shut down the display when it is raining for safety reasons.

A Christmastime Prayer

As I untangle strings of Christmas lights, Lord help me to remember that I do this first to honor You. Never let me get so prideful of my display that I fail to see the wonders in the eyes of a child or the joy on the faces of those who are still children at heart. Never let me forget that my total effort is to make Christmas memories, bring cheer and to slow down the pace of a hectic season if only for a moment. And Lord, someday when I meet you face to face, may I hear you say: "When you made My people smile, you made Me smile."
